What influenced the signers of the Declaration of Independence and

Constitution?

 

Did you know, schools were originally set up by Churches for the purpose of

Bible teaching, and in 1690 Connecticut established a Literacy Law with a

fine of $25 (extremely considerable for that time) because children must be

able to read if they are to read the Scriptures. Also in 1690, Benjamin

Harris' New England Primer textbook with a memorization rhyming alphabet was introduced using Scripture to teach reading and pronunciation. This Primer was reprinted and used for 210 years, until 1900.

was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but

on the gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason people of other faiths

Fast forward to 2004: There will be persecution when the Kingdom of God is

preached. If there is no persecution, then the Kingdom of God is NOT being

preached.

 

Are you uncomfortable with American religious fundamentalists? Do you equate them with Islamic fundamentalists who want to "kill and destroy" those who are not Islamic fundamentalists? Is the "thief" robbing you of your inheritance. And just as some liberals "don't get it" when it comes to

"values," they also may not understand the Kingdom of God, as Jesus said:

"When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and doesn't understands it,

then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his

heart." (Matthew 13:19) Does this challenge you?

 

Some liberal Democrats, the ACLU, Americans for the Separation of Church and State, the abortion industry, Hollywood elites, the "popular" News Media and a "despotic branch" have allied themselves into an anti-Christian propaganda machine. Why? Their "hate and anger" is directed solely at Christians for

revealing sin AND trying to protect their children from what is being FORCED upon them. As Christ taught: "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." John 3:19-20

 

Hating the Light, which reveals their deeds, is the reason Senator Kennedy

calls some Christian "bigots," and introduced "hate crimes" and "special

rights" legislation, when the real hate crime is forcing children of

faith-based parents to accept sin under the false premises of "tolerance and

diversity."

 

Hating the Light, which reveals their deeds, is why homosexuals have devised a deceptive agenda using our courts and public schools, to undermine the will of the majority into forcing that which "goes against nature" as being "normal."

 

Hating the Light, which reveals their deeds, is why organizations such as

the ACLU want to remove Christ from Christmas, and rewrite history to

eliminate the original intent of America's founders. All these

anti-Christian attacks are primarily based upon the LIE of Separation of

Church and State, in which no such law exists, where the First Amendment has been twisted to mean the opposite of what the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence proclaim.

 

Matthew 5:10-16: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness'

sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall

revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you

falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your

reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour,

wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be

cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the

world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a

candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light

unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that

they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

 

Beloved Christian, are you "shining your Light?" Are you the "salt of the

earth?" Or have you "hid the Light under a bushel?"

continued to the people of United America; And that his Holy Word may be

improved by them, so that the name of God may be exalted, and their own

Liberty and Happiness secured. That he would be graciously pleased to bless

our Federal Government; that by a wise administration, it may be a sure

guide and safe protection in national concerns, for the people who have

established, and who support it. That He would continue to us the invaluable

Blessings of Civil Liberty; guarding us against intestine commotions; and

enabling the United States, in the exercise of such Governmental powers, as

are devolved upon them, so that the honor and dignity of our Nation, upon

the Sea and the Land, may be supported, and Peace with the other Powers of

the World, upon safe and honorable terms, may be maintained." --Samuel Adams

 

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this

adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be

ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for

bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20) "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my

name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe

in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung

Psalm 1: Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But

his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day

and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that

brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and

whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the

chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in

the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

 

Matthew 13:3-23: And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why do you speak unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them. Hear therefore the parable of the sower. When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and doesn't understands it, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it; Yet he has not root in himself, but endures for a while: but when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that hears the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

 

All Christians are called to preach the Kingdom of God, which Christ

preached. This alone, "bears fruit," not just expressing our discontent with

removing Christ out of the classroom, or Christmas, or our American

heritage. The culture war that exists today is caused from a lack of

preaching the word of God. As Jesus put it during His time on earth: "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye." (Mark 7:13) And "Woe unto you, lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge: you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in you hindered." (Luke 11:52)

 

He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

 

As Christian and Conservative activist and legal organizations, along with

the Federalist, FOX News, Townhall, Heritage Foundation, Human Events, and others have their place, which do provide required and extremely beneficial services, the preaching of the Kingdom of God by Christians must be done to return America to the original intent upon which it was founded.

 

Otherwise, how will our descendents know virtue?
