Soros is the controversial hedge fund billionaire, convicted of insider trading in France, who finances the “progressive” movement in the U.S. It is significant that Kohn is now a regular paid commentator on Fox News, while Glenn Beck, the one-time archenemy of George Soros, was ousted from the channel last year and now hosts an Internet TV show. An open lesbian who shuns feminine attire and frequently wears a suit jacket, Kohn is joining Fox News after being a regular on such programs as “The Ed Show” on liberal rival MSNBC.

More evidence that we must BAN islam IN AMERICA! - Ed Colorado man arrested on terrorism The FBI arrested a refugee from Uzbekistan at Chicago's O'Hare airport on charges that he planned to travel overseas to fight for a terrorist group and give up his life if necessary, an official said Monday. However, there was no evidence that suspect Jamshid Muhtorov was plotting attacks inside the United States, authorities said. Muhtorov, 35, of Aurora, Colo., was arrested Saturday by members of the FBI's Denver and Chicago Joint Terrorism Task Forces. Muhtorov, who goes by several other names, was indicted for providing and attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Prosecutors allege he planned to fight for the Islamic Jihad Union, which has been blamed for suicide attacks in Uzbekistan and claimed responsibility for numerous attacks against coalition forces in Afghanistan. Muhtorov was arrested without incident before he could board a flight to Istanbul, Turkey, said Dean Boyd, a spokesman for the U.S. Justice Department in Washington.
Obama’s New “Fairness Doctrine” and the American Ideal “Economic fairness” is expected to be the topic of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night, during which he will likely sound the same populist notes of progressivism that America heard last month in his speech in Osawatomie, Kansas. Throughout his Osawatomie speech, the President spoke of “fairness” repeatedly, and he pointed to the federal government as the great instrument by which that fairness can be achieved—by way of more government power, federal education programs, economic regulations, and infrastructure spending. Raising taxes on the wealthy is the “fair” way that the President plans to pay for his expanded state, relying on an “us” versus “them” class warfare rhetoric. In the House of Representatives, eighty-nine congressmen have signed a no confidence resolution concerning Holder’s ability to serve as Attorney General for the nation. When you overlap the two congressional lists (resignation and no confidence), it tallies up to 101 members (just under one quarter) of the House, believe that Holder is incapable of carrying out his job as the nation’s top cop. Screamingly absent from taking any stance on Holder are Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The two top Republican leaders in the House have remained non-committal on Holder. When asked about Holder, both GOP House leaders have remained silent. The figures come as Republican efforts to pass legislation allowing federal agencies to fire tax delinquent federal employees have slowed and as the White House continues to crack down on improper payments made by agencies to delinquent government contractors and federal beneficiaries. About 98,000 federal, postal and congressional employees owed $1.03 billion in unpaid taxes at the end of fiscal 2010, according to records provided by the Internal Revenue Service.

Valley Ranchers Taking Up High-Powered Rifles to Protect Land Valley ranchers say they are arming themselves with high-powered rifles to protect their property. Ranchers say handguns aren't enough anymore. They need more firepower. An AK-47 semiautomatic assault rifle holds 30 rounds. It protects this ranch in Starr County, hundreds of acres. "It does have fire power and it's reliable," says the rancher. Barbed wire fencing doesn't keep illegal immigrants off the property anymore. This rancher doesn't care about the illegals. He worries about the smugglers protecting their loads. "I don't think they would have any conscience of taking someone's life," the rancher says. He saw that will to kill firsthand. A smuggler shot at him on his own land. "One round was fired at me, and it missed my head by about two feet," says the rancher. He says there's only way to react. "Fire all the rounds you have, reload, and do it again," says the rancher.

Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., allows symbols of veterans' various religious faiths to be displayed on existing and future war memorials. However, the Obama administration has objected to altering the memorial with the words of FDR’s prayer, saying to do so would “necessarily dilute this elegant memorial’s central message and its ability to clearly convey that message to move, educate and inspire its many visitors,”

They are out for themselves only. - Ed Michigan Union Manual Instructs Teachers on How to Use Children as ‘Propaganda’ “For more than two years, the Michigan Education Association [MEA] has had a manual that urges its members to use students as propaganda in contract negotiations and also lays out how to organize strikes,” writes Tome Gantert of Michigan Capitol Confidential. Considering the fact that teacher strikes are illegal in Michigan, some may find it odd that the MEA has been encouraging this sort of behavior. In fact, the MEA has done a lot more than just “encourage” potentially illegal activity.
